About Seattle Alumnae Chapter
The Seattle Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated was chartered on September 9, 1979, ending a 46-year affiliation with the Alpha Omicron Chapter. Alpha Omicron was chartered on April 17, 1933, establishing Delta Sigma Theta as the first Black Greek letter organization in the Pacific Northwest. Bailey, the 17 National President of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and a member of Seattle Alumnae Chapter was National President when the charter certificate was signed in 1979.
